443,602 miles

3. WHERE DO YOU BUY YOUR OIL/GET YOUR OIL CHANGED?

I now buy my oil at Walmart, but QikLube still changes my oil.

4. WHAT TYPE OF DRIVING CONDITIONS IS YOUR VEHICLE SUBJECTED TO? 

I currently drive 50 miles or more a day, temperatures vary from 65-99 degrees.

5. WHY WOULD YOU RECOMMEND QUAKER STATE?

It has worked well for me, 2000 Silverado 4WD with 443,602 miles on the original engine speaks for itself.

6. HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE THE RECIPIENT OF THE CASH BACK BONUS?

It felt great knowing that Quaker State thought enough of their product to reward me for being a loyal customer.

It totally blows me away, to own a vehicle that has 443,602 miles on it. I’m shooting for 500,000 or more.

I have always used Quaker State Full Synthetic oil.

2. HOW MANY MILES/KILOMETERS ARE ON YOUR CAR CURRENTLY?

My 2003 GMC Yukon has 481,000 km and is still going strong. This vehicle has never had any motor work done on it! 

3. WHERE DO YOU BUY YOUR OIL/GET YOUR OIL CHANGED?

I have always had the oil changed at Fountain Tire Killam where they check the Yukon out completely and help me keep it in top shape.

4. WHAT TYPE OF DRIVING CONDITIONS IS YOUR VEHICLE SUBJECTED TO?

In Western Canada, we are subject to extreme cold (-40C). This is where the synthetic oil helps so much in starting. Many times, I would not have it plugged in and get caught with a drop to -40C and it would still start.

5. WHY WOULD YOU RECOMMEND QUAKER STATE?

I recommend Quaker State because it is the factor that has made my Yukon last so long.

Receiving the Cash Back Bonus reinforces the satisfaction I have with my Yukon lasting so long.

It is fun to shock friends with my mileage when they complain their vehicle has only 200,000 km, is worn out and they need a new one.

I use Quaker State Full Synthetic 10W-30.

2. HOW MANY MILES/KILOMETERS ARE ON YOUR CAR CURRENTLY?

I currently have 360,000 miles on my 2001 Chevy Tahoe.

3. WHERE DO YOU BUY YOUR OIL/GET YOUR OIL CHANGED?

I did my own oil changes and bought the oil at Menard’s Home Improvement stores.

4. WHAT TYPE OF DRIVING CONDITIONS IS YOUR VEHICLE SUBJECTED TO?

Most of my miles were long trips from Wisconsin to Florida, South Carolina or Colorado. It takes some doing to get to 300,000, and driving to church and the store will not get it done. I never thought the truck would last this long or had a plan to keep it this long, but it runs great. Looks are okay, too, despite a ding here and there.

5. WHY WOULD YOU RECOMMEND QUAKER STATE?

Truthfully, I bought Quaker State because it was always on sale for the same or less than conventional oil. Then when the rebate came out, that was just a bonus. Like I said, I never thought I would make it that far. 

6. HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE THE RECIPIENT OF THE CASH BACK BONUS?

Seeing as I was the only DIYer to make it to 300k, that is something nice. Quaker State did a great job at the promotion we had a Menards [where I was awarded] the big check. NASCAR Driver Paul Menard was there, which was a thrill to my son, and he got us tickets to a race in Florida, which was really cool. Now everyone at the store knows me and says “Hi” as if I was a VIP, which I was for a day, but they continue to give me props. 

7. HOW DOES IT FEEL TO HAVE MAINTAINED YOUR CAR FOR 300,000 MILES/400,000 KM?

I think I just got a bit lucky with making it to 300k. I have had no problems with any thing on the truck. Besides the things you expect to replace, I can say the engine runs great with Quaker State. At any time, something major could have gone out like a transmission etc. prior to 300k, and I would not have bothered to fix it as the truck is not worth a big expense. But so far, all is holding up. I do make sure the small things and fluid changes are done, so maybe it is not so much luck and more what I have done, who knows.

A: I use Quaker State Full Synthetic motor oil in 5W-30. I have about five jugs left, then I will be switching to Quaker State High Mileage Full Synthetic motor oil.

A: My truck has about 405,000 kilometers (251,655 miles) on it now.

A: I buy all of my Quaker State motor oil at Canadian Tire.

A: I own a farm, so my truck has to drive on dirt roads a lot. My truck has to be tough. Quaker State has kept it that way!

Q: WHY WOULD YOU RECOMMEND QUAKER STATE?

A: I have used Quaker State motor oil for 40 plus years and I trust it completely.

Before the vehicle was in an accident, it had 322,000 miles on the odometer.

I bought the oil at Walmart, and had it changed at a local supply store, Ead’s Consumer Supply.

I drive 46 miles to work every day and live in Colorado where there is extreme heat in the summer and extreme cold in the winter.

5. WHY WOULD YOU RECOMMEND QUAKER STATE?

I would recommend Quaker State to others because I had an 11-year-old vehicle that ran like new. I then bought a used car to replace it, it has 225,000 on it, and it’s using QS, too!
