With its Build the Car of Your Dreams Sweepstakes, Quaker State gave its fans the opportunity to take home a 1972 Chevrolet C-10 along with $25,000 to restore and customize the pick-up back to tip-top condition with the help of Tommy Pike Customs in Greenville, South Carolina.

To spread the word about the sweepstakes, Quaker State joined the celebration of traditional Hispanic festivals all around the country. These events included the Latin Energy Car Show in Dallas, TX; The Festival de La Villita in Chicago, IL; and the Festival Calle Orange in Orlando, FL.

Christopher Bryant from Atlanta, Georgia, was the winner from hundreds of thousands of entries from across the nation.

In just a few weeks’ time, Tommy Pike and his team made several modifications to the truck including the installation of a new fuel injection system, the design and installation of a custom vintage air system, upgrades to the wheels and tires and the installation of a new rear and front suspension.

Watch the Quaker State winner, Christopher Bryant, see his newly revamped C-10 truck for the first time.
